An exceptional settingThe Domaine Capdevielle is located in Monein, in the heart of the Jurançon vineyards, between the towns of Oloron-Sainte-Marie and Pau. This area of pre-Pyrenean hills, steeped in history, is an invitation to discover.
The Domaine’s vineyards, nestled between historic buildings and traditional Béarn houses, offer exceptional panoramic views of the Pyrenees mountain range.
A typical family property
In this undulating countryside, the Domaine Capdevielle family home, a former farmhouse dating back to 1847, has all the hallmarks of Béarn architecture, with its ochre facades and burgundy shutters, its inner courtyard, pebbles and steeply pitched slate roof…
Around the house, palm and banana trees have taken root, finding a hospitable home in the mild Béarn climate.
Adjacent to the house, a tasting room with the air of an orangery – with its large picture windows – opens onto a vast terrace on a promontory, offering a unique contemplative setting conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation: the precise and rigorous alignment of the rows of vines highlighting the majesty of the Pyrenees offers a grandiose view, like a work of art changing with the play of shadow, light and colour of the seasons.
A pioneer in wine tourism
This privileged setting is complemented by the dynamism of an owner who, right from the start, was able to provide Domaine Capdevielle with decisive assets for developing wine tourism, notably with the construction of a modern winery and an intimate, air-conditioned tasting room.
Labels & awards
Since it was first awarded the ‘Bienvenue à la Ferme’ label in 2002, the estate has received a number of new distinctions in recent years, placing it in a category of high quality hospitality:
– 2018: ‘Vignobles & Découvertes’ and ‘HVE’ level 3 label
– 2021 : Tourisme et Handicap’ label
– 2022: Jury’s ‘Best of Wine Tourism’ award
– 2023 : HVE level 4 label
Your events and meetings at Domaine Capdevielle
Domaine Capdevielle welcomes you for your business meetings, seminars and private and professional events. The site has a 50m2 heated and air-conditioned room. It can accommodate 50 people in theatre format, and around twenty people with a meeting table.
The site also has a sub-committee room for 12 people with a central meeting table.
A small kitchen and (disabled) toilets are also available.
The room opens onto a covered veranda, which in turn leads onto two successive terraces with views of the Domaine’s vineyards and the Pyrenees.
A large car park is available on site, accessible to touring coaches.

Zipline over the vines
A concept that’s unique in the world! A set of 4 zip lines above the vines, including one over 300 metres long and 20 metres high!

Activ'Game
An educational activ’game on the theme of biodiversity, heritage and the winegrowing profession, with a unique itinerary.
Equipped with an iPad and a map, set off to discover the estate!
Archery Tag
For an extra challenge, teams can challenge each other to the Archery Tag. This is a short tournament, lasting a total of 45 minutes.
Electric trot ride
Enjoy an environmentally-friendly ride through the heart of the vineyards. The all-terrain electric scooters take you to the top of the hillsides in just a few minutes, so you can admire the magnificent views.

Immersion in a drone and VR headset
Assisted by a remote drone pilot, take a seat and enjoy the experience through an immersive headset.
You’ll be presented with a series of riddles, and you’ll have to guide the drone pilot in search of clues that can only be seen from a drone. One person in the team wears the helmet, while the other participants see the camera on a TV screen.
The person wearing the helmet can change for each puzzle.
